Hong Kong-based creative studio AllRightsReserved (ARR) said the ducks were like the symmetrical Chinese characters 'xi' for happiness and 'peng' for friends.

Hofman said: “When AllRightsReserved (Hong Kong-based creative studio) asked me to bring it again, I hesitated, as mentioned before. But when I thought about the world and the needs we have all after pandemic, etc., I thought, yeah, let's double it. So I brought two ducks to bring double luck.“
