AOC blasts Republican resolution to oust Omar from committee as 'targeting women of color'

Speaking on the House floor on Thursday, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., called a resolution to remove Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., from the House Foreign Affairs Committee part of a "continued attack" by Republicans and an extension of "racism and incitement of violence against women of color in this body." The House later voted to remove Omar from the committee by a vote of 218-211.
