It's been about three years since drivers in Colorado Springs first saw these metering traffic lights on I-25 on-ramps, but state traffic engineers say there aren't enough up and running to measure whether they've had any impact on speeding traffic patterns or crashes. Some drivers clearly don't see the benefits, and choose not to slow down for the lights which allow one vehicle per lane to advance at a time.
