A bear-shaped snow sculpture was used as a roadblock at a toll gate after the highway closed in northern China.
Video shot in the city of Ordos in Inner Mongolia on December 8 shows a 2-metre-high bear-shaped snow sculpture in front of a toll gate to block the road.
According to a worker named Wang, the highway closed due to heavy snow on December 7 so they started to make snowmen for fun.
It took her two colleagues and herself more than three hours to build the bear.
Wang said the snow sculpture will alert drivers that the highway is closed and hopes the bear will ease the drivers' anxiety of waiting.
