Video filmed in the city of Xuchang in Henan Province on June 21 shows a massive tree falling inches away from a scooter rider named Su who was driving past the area. According to Su, she had no warning of the impending danger, given the poor visibility. It was only her quick reaction to the abnormal situation, hitting the brakes just in time, that kept her from being crushed under the tree. Fortunately, Su was not injured. The video was provided by local media with permission.
