The Palestinian resistance factions in the Gaza Strip fired rockets that targeted the cities of Tel Aviv, Ashdod, Ashkelon, and the Gaza envelope on Friday, August 5. Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad, announced that it had bombed Tel Aviv and its casing with more than 100 missiles, in response to the assassination of the commander of the northern region, Taysir al-Jabari.
