A kind passerby rescued a stray puppy that had fallen into a pond in Thailand. Resident Sa Auykamkun was out on stroll in Samut Prakan province on January 13 when she spotted the baby dog in the water. Footage shows the female black pup paddling its paws as it struggled to swim in the middle of some floating garbage. Sa then found a net to scoop up the pooch before taken it to safety. She said: "It might have drowned if I had not saved it." The woman said she let the stray puppy wander away to find its family, who are believed to have been nearby.
