This is the amusing moment a bold tourist tried befriending a hungry wild monkey in Thailand. Footage shows holidaymaker Alexandr Mitskevich reaching out to the primate for a handshake in Surat Thani province on November 24. Thinking it was being given a treat, the animal attempted to snatch and take a bite out of his hand. After several more failed attempts at earning its friendship, Alexandr finally left the monkey alone.
