Oddly Satisfying? Lava Oozes Out of Egg-Shaped Lobe at Iceland Volcano

Lava oozed from an egg-shaped lobe at a volcano on the Reykjanes peninsula in Iceland on June 12.

Satisfying footage by Prof Matthew Thirlwall from Royal Holloway, University of London, shows the lobe being ripped apart by the piping-hot lava within.

The video captures the scene at a volcano in Geldingadalir, which began to erupt back in March.
