Oil industry removes measure from November ballot

Representatives from the oil industry have decided to withdraw their measure from the November 2024 ballot. If the measure were passed, it would have overturned a state law forbidding oil wells near neighborhoods and schools, a law that representatives have fought hard to repeal.
