STORY: Huge crowds were seen standing outside the building, with some walking away carrying white bags.

“People are hungry. People will die. They are killing people for five kilograms of flour,” said a mother standing near the building.

With the war between Israel and Hamas now in its sixth month, aid agencies have warned that pockets of Gaza already face famine, with hospitals in the north reporting children dying of malnutrition and dehydration.

More than 31,726 Palestinians have been killed and at least 73,792 have been injured in Israeli military offensive on Gaza since Oct. 7, the Gaza health ministry said in a statement on Monday.

Hamas killed around 1,200 people in its attack on Israeli territory and seized 253 hostages, according to Israeli tallies.
