Police Detain Person During Pro-Palestine Protest at NYU

Police descended on a pro-Palestine protest at New York University (NYU) on Wednesday, May 1.

Videos filmed by Brendan Gutenschwager show protesters outside the NYU Paulson Center waving Palestinian flags.

“NYU, you can’t hide. You’re abetting genocide!” they can be heard chanting in the video.

One man was escorted away from the protest by police. Gutenschwager said the man was using an amplified sound device.
