Police Helicopter Helps Track Suspect Who Tossed Gun While Fleeing on Foot

A police helicopter helped officers apprehend a suspect in Atlanta, Georgia, on November 17 after he crashed a car police said was stolen, and tossed a gun while fleeing on foot.

Video released by police shows the vehicle, which they said was a Charger, crashing into oncoming traffic as it drives down the wrong side of a highway.

The suspect then flees on foot, tossing a gun off a bridge as he runs into a woods. Officers reach him shortly after, the video shows.
