Police Minister responds to "alarming" crime stats

Police Minister Kit Malthouse says knife crime statistics are "alarming" after the publication of today's crime figures. The Office for National Statistics reported that knife crime offences hit a record high in the year ending September 2019, rising by 7% on the previous 12 months.
