Police: Teenager shot in east Baltimore in grave condition

A teenager shot in the head in east Baltimore was taken to a hospital in grave condition, city police said. Police said officers were dispatched around 5:19 p.m. to the 1400 block of East Fayette Street to investigate a ShotSpotter alert for gunfire in the area. Police said officers found a 13-year-old girl suffering from a gunshot wound to her head. Police said at the center of it all was a car parked in parking lot for a liquor store at the corner of Fayette and Caroline streets.
