The U.S. added 187,000 jobs in August, which is more than economists had been expecting. The unemployment rate rose to 3.8%. Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA) announced that CEO Rosalind Brewer was stepping down after less than three years in the role. The company said in a statement that it was a mutual decision.
