How Will Reeve honors his late father Christopher Reeve

“Everything I do, I try to honor my parents’ legacy. I want to keep their names alive,” Will Reeve said last year, when he ran the NYC Marathon. Indeed, the late Christopher and Dana Reeve would be very proud. Will, 25, who bears a striking likeness to his father, plays a pivotal role in the annual fundraising gala for the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation (the latest was last week). He also has shared some heartwarming posts on Instagram honoring his dad, famous for his role as “Superman,” among others. Christopher Reeve died in 2004 at the age of 52. In 1995, a horse-riding accident left him paralyzed. Two years after his passing, Christopher’s wife, Dana, died of lung cancer. Will is now an ESPN reporter, a “dream job,” he told People magazine, in part because he and his father shared a passion for sports.
