Demonstrators came face-to-face with a wall of police officers while protesting a narrowly approved state reform in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Wednesday, June 12.

Footage filmed and posted to Instagram by Martina Mengoni shows protesters in the streets of Buenos Aires as police officers with riot shields guard the Palace of the Argentine National Congress. People were protesting the narrowly approved Ley de Bases, a key reform for Javier Milei’s government aimed at transforming Argentina’s economic and social model.
