A four-month-old puma cub is being cared for by an animal welfare group after its recovery from an apartment in Lahr, Germany, in December.

The cub, named Tikam, was legally purchased in the Czech Republic and illegally smuggled across the German border by car, according to Four Paws International. The cub is now in the Tierart big cat re-homing center, in Massweiler, Germany.
