Man Survives Falling Under Moving Train (No Sound)

Network Rail has released incredible CCTV footage of a man falling under a moving train carriage at Manchester Piccadilly Station. The man survived the accident and sustained only minor injuries.

Network Rail released the footage as part of a nationwide public awareness campaign, “Lend a Helping Hand”, to highlight the importance of safety while getting on and off trains and encourage people to be more considerate and helpful of their fellow passengers.

“Everybody has heard the phrase ‘Mind the Gap’. We’re minding that gap every day, looking at how we can make that gap as safe as possible for the millions that rely on a safe and punctual train service," said Network Rail’s Operations and Maintenance Services Director Neal Lawson.
