Sacramento’s Front Street Animal Shelter is offering $20 kitten adoptions as part of its Clear the Shelters event. Ryan Hinderman joined KCRA 3 to talk about the adoption drive. “Even though the forecast has not been showing rain, it has been raining kittens at the shelter,” he said. He said that April until October is known as kitten season and this time of year it’s typical for the shelter to get an influx of kittens. The $20 adoption special will run until Sept. 13.
