Record Snow Buries Car in Japan's Aomori City

Record snowfall blanketed areas of western and northern Japan and disrupted travel on Monday, December 27, NHK reported.

In Aomori City in the Tohoku region of northern Japan, over a meter of snow fell. Five people have been injured by the heavy snow in the city so far, according to the report.

Video filmed by Twitter user @sfaym is described as showing a car buried in snow in Aomori City on Monday.
