Rescuers saved the lives of two dogs pulled from a house fire in Florida by providing oxygen and performing CPR at the scene, a local sheriff’s office said.

Bodycam footage released by the St Johns County Sheriff’s Office shows the life-saving efforts underway on Powell Road in St Augustine.

“When deputies arrived, they learned there were animals inside,” the sheriff’s office said.

“Deputy Branaum kicked open the front door, and firefighters removed two unresponsive dogs from the home,” a statement continued, adding, “Deputy Branaum and fire rescue performed CPR and provided oxygen to the dogs until they both gained consciousness.”
