Musk's Twitter bid is board's 'worst nightmare' -analyst

STORY: Musk's offer on Thursday prompted a spike in shares of the social media giant, which the Tesla CEO said needs to be taken private to grow and become a platform for free speech.

Ives says if Musk does end up owning Twitter, he'll likely bring in experts to transform the company which would lead to an exodus among the staff. "I think if Musk ultimately ends up owning Twitter, I'd expect pounds and pounds of resumes coming out of Twitter because I think there's a lot of employees that would likely not work from Musk."
