Moroccan kids displaced by quake get new playground

STORY: Fatim and her family had to leave their home in Amizmiz when tremors damaged the building during the 6.8 magnitude quake that hit on September 8. They now lives in a camp nearby.

As the children in the camp watched workers from phosphate company OCP installed play equipment, parents hoped it would distract them from the memories of the night of the quake.

The 6.8 magnitude quake that struck late on September 8 killed killed 2,946 people and injured 5,674, according to the latest official figures, making it Morocco's deadliest since 1960 and most powerful since at least 1900.
