Northern Lights illuminate North America's skies

STORY: The National Weather Service (NWS) office in Duluth, Minnesota, said the lights would remain visible across much of the Northland (northeast Minnesota and Northern Wisconsin) throughout the evening and would persist into the morning.

The Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC) forecast a moderate geomagnetic storm in northern parts of the United States for late Monday and into Tuesday (September 19, 2023) morning.
