A woman filmed deliberately scratching another woman's BMW has been slapped with a fine after she was unmasked as a bitter neighbour. Hazel Innes, 44, was caught on camera scratching a key along the side of a white BMW X3 while walking her pug dog. She scratched two other parked cars – causing almost £3,000 worth of damage – in the streets near her home in Buckie, Moray. Innes initially denied being the culprit but later admitted to causing the damage. Appearing at Elgin Sheriff Court on Thursday, it was confirmed that she had paid £2,845 to reimburse the victims in full. And her solicitor Matthew O’Neill revealed that she could not give an explanation for the vandalism.
