Police officer removes jar from raccoon's head

Midnight shifts for law enforcement can be idleness followed by a sudden foot chase without notice. No different for Oak Grove Officer (name not released for dignity’s sake) when faced with a scavenging mammal of the weasel family and a jar stuck over its head. The foot chase traveled a quarter mile in steps within 10 square feet as the culprit refused all verbal commands. Once the officer (unnamed) went hands-on and completed an impromptu roundabout dizzying the raccoon, the jar was safely removed. The raccoon did not report any injuries from the incident, and the officer did not display any external injuries though internally it may be too soon. Video credit Oak Grove Police Department
