Yahoo TV Seventh Grader Sinks Half-Court Shot to Win Tied Game

Seventh-grader Sara Guveiyian from Haddonfield, New Jersey, led her basketball team to the ICBL Girls Basketball League championship with a half-court shot on Sunday, February 25.
The Haddonfield Youth Basketball Association (HYBL) caught the impressive moment on camera. In the video, Guveiyian can be seen intercepting the ball with less than five seconds on the clock and scoring the game-defining shot.
Prior to Guveiyian’s three-pointer, the Haddonfield Bulldawgs and Washington Township were tied 37-37.
