Snow Falls at US Capitol as Storm Sweeps Eastern States

Snow fell on Washington early Monday morning, January 3, as a storm system threatened mid-Atlantic states with several inches of snow, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.

The NWS forecast up to 8 inches of snow in parts of the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region.
