Fort Jackson soldier Jonathan Pentland briefly returned to his home in the Summit neighborhood of Columbia, South Carolina, with a police escort on April 14, video shows.

According to filmer Lavonna Goodwin this video shows Pentland, who is wearing a long-sleeve shirt, and a companion returning to the home. Pentland can be seen approaching the door to the home and making several trips from the house to a parked car as he retrieves a dog, a bag, and a suitcase.

The Pentland family previously left their house in Columbia after police alleged protesters vandalized the home, the Richland County Sheriff’s Office said.
