The former Chipotle (CMG) CEO is now knee deep into picking apart the struggling operations of Starbucks in a bid to revive the coffee giant’s financial fortunes. And to an equal extent, Starbucks stock price. But the company’s latest earnings show a business that is enduring multiple problems – from an overpacked US menu to slowing demand in China. Niccol has wasted no time in responding, bringing back coffee condiment stations and getting ready for an overseas trip to China.
