Family Day Out: Manatees Spotted With Calves in Florida Waters

A pair of manatees were spotted gliding along with their calves in St Petersburg, Florida, on August 27.

Footage captured by Michael McCarthy, who runs a local boat and kayak business called See Through Canoe, captured the family day out in full swing.

“As I was watching these two manatees with their calves, one of the calves came over to the paddleboard with its really large mother and circled around the front of it.
