State of Emergency Issued as Severe Weather Pummels Kentucky

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear issued a state of emergency due to severe weather across the state, including tornadoes, flooding, thunderstorms, and high winds, which were expected throughout Friday, March 3.

In a video posted to Beshear’s Twitter account, he urged Kentucky residents to “hunker down” and to not take chances during the severe weather.

The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for London, with a possibility of hail and wind gusts up to 70 mph.
