Goat Out the Way! Baby Goats Stampede at Maine Farm

3 年前

The award for “cutest stampede” doesn’t exist, but if it did the prize may go to the baby goats at Hope Hall’s Sunflower Farm Creamery in Cumberland, Maine.

The farm said it welcomed 60 healthy Nigerian Dwarf goats during the 2021 kidding season – 27 doelings and 33 bucklings. To mark the end of the season, Hall prompted the goats to go for “an epic run” before the morning feeding time.

This video, which Hall said was taken in June, shows a herd of delightful hungry baby goats stampeding back and forth from their barn before racing out into a field to feed from their mothers.

Hall noted that the farm’s newest arrivals – triplets born the night before on their mother Claire’s birthday – could be seen the end of the video. Credit: Sunflower Farm Creamery via Storyful
