A ferry ran aground in Brooklyn, New York, on June 5, prompting an emergency response from police, firefighters, and the US Coast Guard.

The US Coast Guard said a Seastreak Ferry ran aground and was taking on water near the Bushwick Inlet. More than 120 people were safely evacuated the Coast Guard said.

The Coast Guard’s Captain Zeita Merchant said, “The team effort between the Coast Guard and our local first responders including FDNY and NYPD harbor units allowed for the safe evacuation of all passengers.” Credit: @erik66 via Storyful
