Long lines were seen at a gas station in Monroeville, Alabama on May 10, amid fears of shortages due to the shutdown of the Colonial Gas Pipeline following a cyber attack.

The pipeline network ships more than 2.5 million barrels per day of gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel, accounting for about 45 percent of fuel consumed on the East Coast, according to AL.com.

Long lines and gas shortages were also reported in Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas.
