Anti-Vaccine Protesters Gather Outside Australian Open

Crowds of protesters gathered outside Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Victoria, where the Australian Open was being played on January 22, footage shared online shows.

The demonstrators protested against “COVID-19 vaccine mandates and restrictions” and caused “mass disruption in the city,” The Age reported.

Victoria Police told the Age there were an estimated 1500 protesters in Melbourne.
