Berlin Zoo's Twin Panda Cubs Tumble Around During Public Debut

Zoo Berlin’s twin panda cubs stumbled and tumbled as they climbed around their enclosure during their public debut on January 29, footage released by the zoo shows.

The footage shows charmingly clumsy five-month-old males Meng Xiang and Meng Yuan, whose names mean “long-awaited dream” and “dream come true,” clambering over boulders and exploring their enclosure. Their mother, Meng Meng, was looking on, the zoo said.

According to Zoo Berlin, the cubs were nicknamed “Pit” and “Paule” by their carers and were the first pandas ever born in a German zoo.
