Brush Fire Spreads as Heat Wave Grips Nevada

A brush fire burning south of Reno, Nevada, spread to 300 acres within hours on June 16, as a heatwave gripped the state.

This footage, released by the local fire department, shows the fire, dubbed the Petrilla Fire, burning in Pleasant Valley.

Officials said the fire was 35 percent contained by late Wednesday, and all evacuation orders were lifted.
