Volunteers banded together on Wednesday, May 18, in an effort to clean up rubble left in the aftermath of Russian strikes in Kharkiv, Ukraine.

This video showing the scene was recorded by Kharkiv resident Maria Avdeeva, who said locals have shown “amazing” resistance and ability to self-organize in the face of the war.
