Climate Activists Block Major Roads in New York City

Climate activists blocked sections of two major highways in New York City on October 25, calling on US President Joe Biden to push through his climate agenda.

Footage posted by Extinction Rebellion NYC shows protesters blocking FDR Drive, as another group of activists also blocked the West Side Highway on the other side of the city.

The joint protests were organized by Extinction Rebellion NYC and Sunrise NYC, organizers told Storyful.
