Four cooling towers at the Ferrybridge power station ‘C’ in Knottingley, England, were demolished on Sunday, October 13.

More than 140 homes were evacuated as a precautionary measure before the demolition of the local landmark, which operated as a coal-fired electricity plant for 50 years before it was closed by SSE in March 2016, the Wakefield Express reported.
