Crews Battle Palisades Fire Spreading in Los Angeles County

The Palisades Fire burning in Los Angeles County, California, grew to 1,325 acres and remained at zero percent containment on the evening of Sunday, May 16, fire officials said.

Two individuals have been questioned by investigators in relation to the blaze, the Los Angeles Fire Department said. Officials said Los Angeles Fire Department arson investigators and the Los Angeles Police Department had questioned and released one individual, and detained a second.

The fire began on Friday night, the Los Angeles Times reported. Approximately 1,000 people who live near Topanga Canyon Road were evacuated from their homes
