Aerial footage captured spectacular images of a curious humpback whale circling a boat in a Norwegian fjord on November 20.

Berthold Hinrichs, who filmed the footage in Reinefjorden, told Storyful that after weeks of storms and rain, he decided to take the boat out with his friend Marco and a dog named Luna aboard.

“We were taken by surprise by this humpback whale seeking some company. He was a bit away from a big group of humpbacks, on his own,” Hinrichs said.
