A young Sam Fender super fan enjoys nothing more than singing and playing along to his hero, video shot by his uncle in Sunderland shows.
“This is Alex, or Big Al,” Matt Robinson told Storyful. “He’s my sister’s son.”
In the clips, filmed by the infatuated uncle, the toddler, who will turn three in August, can be seen singing along his favorite tracks while plucking a few guitar strings.
“It’s actually not just Sam Fender he loves, he also likes listening to Elvis and the Beatles.” Robinson said. “From when he was born, he’s had music played to him. He comes from a musical family so he hasn’t had much choice!”
Robinson said Al’s taste for music is shared by his cousins, who all play the guitar and other instruments.
“We recently bought him a microphone and amp to go with his ukulele, and now we play gigs together in the living room. The plan is to buy him a small electric guitar and, eventually, when he has the attention levels, teach him his first chords,” he said.
He added: “Maybe we’ll see him on the Glastonbury stage when he’s older.” Credit: Matt Robinson via Storyful
