The Nova Scotia Government requested federal assistance after Post-Tropical Cyclone Fiona made landfall on Canada’s Atlantic Coast on Saturday, September 24.

The government asked the Canadian Armed Forces to assist in clean-up and power restoration efforts and requested federal funding to help municipalities deal with damage incurred by Fiona.
