Delhi Police Deliver Oxygen Tanks to Hospitals as COVID Cases Mount

Police in Delhi, India, delivered oxygen to several hospitals in the city as the country’s COVID crisis deepened on Wednesday, April 21.

In one drop-off at the Aakash Hospital, police said they delivered 37 oxygen cylinders. The hospital had 75 patients on life support, they said.

Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said many hospitals in the city only had 6-12 hours of oxygen left by April 22, ANI reported.
