Demonstrators Face-Off With Police in Brooklyn Center During Daunte Wright Protest

Protesters and police faced off outside the police department in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as demonstrations over the death of Daunte Wright were held for a third consecutive night.

Public safety officials issued three dispersal warnings on April 13 and said protesters who did not leave the area would be arrested.

Video taken by Chanda Pandaa shows protesters surrounding the police department, while police use smoke to try to disperse the crowd.

Demonstrations began in Brooklyn Center after a police officer fatally shot Daunte Wright during a traffic stop on April 11.
