The Dixie Fire in Plumas County, California, turned the sky bright pink and orange on Thursday evening, July 22, as thousands of personnel fought to protect homes and structures from the flames.

Footage shared by Jacob Cline shows a helicopter view of the forest fire, taken on Thursday.
